Aspro acquires Delta Park
Spain-based visitor attraction operator Aspro has taken over the Delta Park Neeltje Jans in the Netherlands for an undisclosed sum. Aspro acquired the park, which includes an outdoor seal pool, a water park and an aquarium, from its joint owners Dutch bus company Connexxion and the Delta Expo foundation.

Holiday World to install world's tallest water ride
Holiday World & Splashin' Safari in Santa Claus, Indiana, US has announced plans to open the world's tallest water ride for the 2009 season. To be called Pilgrims Plunge, the ride will lift riders up to 135ft in the air, before plummeting them down 131ft at speeds of up to 50mph, creating a wall of water splashing 45 feet high.

A ride on the wild side
New from Chance Morgan is its Safari Jeeps ride, with the first example having just opened at an Ohio zoo.

The ride comprises up to 12 electrically powered, four-person, Jeep-shaped, fibreglass vehicles travelling around a 1200ft track.
